Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing or Finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in functions related to brand management, margin analysis and/or P&L, budgeting, and development of marketing plans and product launches, preferably in the consumer products industry
  • Knowledge of A+ software

Responsibilities

  • Create new product sheets to enter into the A+ system
  • Update, confirm, and publish price lists and "shoppers" in P
  • Support the Brand Manager monthly in reviewing brand profit reports
  • Maintain a record of annual negotiations signed by clients
  • Understand the details of variables affecting margin to support the Brand Manager
  • Keep track of and follow up on offer and promotion plans
  • Analyze results of fill rate, shoppers, sales, bad conditions, spoilage, OOS, OSA (PMR) and promotional programs, and offer suggestions to the Brand Manager for areas of opportunity
  • Possess knowledge of IRI and Nielsen measurement methodologies
  • Know all buyers of key brands, visit the "Trade"
  • Accompany salespeople on their route and/or review exhibition compliance
  • Recommend product marketing strategies and communicate them to purchasing and sales departments after approval by the Brand Manager
  • Analyze and prevent risks in products with short expiration dates
  • Support the Brand Manager on issues related to sales and inventory projections with the purchasing team
  • Recommend promotional activities to the Brand Manager
  • Estimate necessary funds for activities and present them to the Brand Manager
  • Hold meetings with Sales and KA Managers, CatMan, and Purchasing for the development of strategies that benefit assigned brands, after approval by the Brand Manager
  • Calendarize key seasonal events for their brands with reasonable anticipation
  • Coordinate and support the Brand Manager in business reviews at least twice a year, covering all points in the Business Review checklist
  • Contribute to working on and analyzing sales reports to share with suppliers
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations
  • Communicate to sales about new products, discontinuations, packaging changes, price changes, products to liquidate, etc.
  • Contact advertising and promotion agencies for any type of event developed with the brands
  • Support in the preparation of promotional activities for assigned brands
