About The Position

At Poten & Partners, we are seeking a talented Marketing & Research Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving commercial success and engagement through various marketing and business development activities. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating high-quality prospect lists, capturing contact information, and translating marketing efforts into meaningful opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and executing company events, webinars, and industry participations, while also supporting our ongoing thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, lead generation, research, or event support.
  • Proven experience in supporting marketing campaigns, events, or webinars.
  • Strong research skills with hands-on experience in data gathering and list development.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing tools, with a preference for HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zoom.
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices, contact management, and privacy considerations.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and B2B social media platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMS platforms is an asset.
  • Knowledge of LNG, natural gas, LPG, maritime transportation, or related energy markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify target companies, job titles, and decision-makers across LNG, natural gas, LPG, maritime, and energy sectors.
  • Build, refine, and maintain accurate prospect lists using hands-on research and digital tools.
  • Manage and update the company's contact database across CRM and marketing systems, ensuring data integrity and segmentation.
  • Systematically collect and consolidate contact information from industry events and webinars, including delegate lists and attendee rosters.
  • Execute targeted multi-channel marketing campaigns to raise awareness, nurture prospects, and support lead generation for subscription products.
  • Support website lead generation efforts by optimizing forms, updating landing pages, and implementing campaign tagging.
  • Plan and promote Poten's participation in industry events, conferences, and forums, ensuring a strong presence.
  • Develop and execute marketing activities for company-hosted events and webinars, including client briefings and training sessions.
  • Assist with social media activities tied to campaigns, events, and thought leadership initiatives, maintaining brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure campaign alignment, follow-up activities, and performance tracking.
