About The Position

As our Marketing & Media Data Analyst, you'll be the bridge between numbers and narratives, transforming advertising and marketing data into powerful stories that guide strategy and growth. In this role, you'll dive deep into media and marketing campaigns, building dashboards, uncovering patterns, and shaping the way we understand lead generation, campaign performance, and multi-channel impact. You'll collaborate with our Creative Media team and Data Initiatives team to ensure accuracy, innovation, and clarity in every report-helping our internal teams and financial advisor clients make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or marketing/media analytics role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, campaign attribution, media measurement, and multi-channel analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets from multiple advertising/marketing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively both within the Creative/Media team and with the existing Data team.
  • Hands-on experience creating reports/dashboards using data visualization platforms (Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.).
  • 2-3 years' experience using Excel VBA and macros, Power BI, or other relevant data analysis tools (advanced level).
  • Experience with GoHighLevel or other marketing/lead management systems preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of data preparation, validation, and merging disparate marketing datasets.
  • Experience with data operations and governance of data pipelines
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Facebook Ads Manager, Strata, Comscore, Five9, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage project-based work and meet stakeholder deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, data analytics, data science, or a related field
  • Experience at a marketing agency, media company, or in a creative/advertising analytics role.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, particularly linking media/leads to CRM outcomes.
  • Experience developing attribution models and measuring cross-channel campaign performance.
  • Experience with BI/data platforms (Tableau, SQL).
  • Experience facilitating adoption of data processes and tools across teams.
  • Advanced dashboard automation and process documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate, Workfront, Snappy Kraken, RingCentral

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and produce analytic reports on media and marketing campaign performance, ensuring accuracy and relevance across Media, Creative, Web, Buying, Radio, TV, Digital, and PR teams.
  • Gather and organize data from GoHighLevel, Google Analytics (GA4), Facebook Ads Manager, Five9, Strata, Comscore, internal spreadsheets, and more.
  • Build insightful dashboards (Power BI preferred) showing lead volume, appointment conversion, multi-channel impact, content/script efficacy, and marketing ROI.
  • Collaborate actively with Advisors Excel's Data Initiatives team to ensure consistent data practices and to co-develop Power BI dashboards and data solutions.
  • Work with department heads to uncover top-performing funnels, topics, and content, recommending strategy optimizations.
  • Support attribution efforts and communicate how leads and appointments flow across marketing channels.
  • Analyze broader impact of branding activities versus direct response efforts, including website traffic and search lift.
  • Document and improve SOPs for media and marketing data dashboards and processes.
  • Assist creative, media, and web teams in enhancing their data collection, reporting, and measurement practices, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support adoption and integration of GoHighLevel and other platforms as centralized data sources.
  • Provide unbiased, actionable insights to maximize campaign and advisor results.
  • Other duties as assigned.
