About The Position

This role is responsible for creating and managing content across social media, blogs, newsletters, and client case studies, supporting light in-person marketing efforts, and assisting with other marketing-related needs as they arise. As a small business, we value flexibility and collaboration while keeping responsibilities clearly defined and reasonable.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and editing skills (professional, clear, and engaging)
  • Experience managing social media for a business or brand
  • Comfortable representing a professional services firm at business events
  • Ability to take rough ideas and turn them into polished content
  • Able to work independently or with a team and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, technology, and/or professional services

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot (email campaigns, basic CRM or marketing automation, Social Media Management)
  • Familiarity with ZoomInfo for research and targeting
  • Experience using Canva for simple graphics, social posts, and newsletter visuals
  • Experience with MSPs, IT services, or cybersecurity

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Highlight client wins, community involvement, and company events
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and posting cadence
  • Write, edit, and post blog articles related to IT, cybersecurity, cloud, compliance, and business technology
  • Turn technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for business leaders and decision makers
  • Assist with topic planning and content calendars discussing technology in relation to a number of different industries
  • Create email newsletters on a scheduled cadence for existing clients, targeted industries, and general marketing contacts
  • Summarize blogs, company updates, events, and important IT topics including emerging technology and cybersecurity.
  • Partner and coordinate with leadership to outline messages for campaigns aligning to ongoing Technology Trends
  • Interview internal team members and clients to gather details
  • Write clear, professional case studies highlighting challenges, solutions, and outcomes
  • Help build a library of marketing and sales-ready case studies
  • Attend select local events, Chamber functions, trade shows, or community gatherings to represent Onsite Computing
  • Capture photos, notes, and key takeaways for use in social media, blogs, and newsletters
  • Coordinate with leadership before and after events to align messaging and follow-up content
  • Assist with other reasonable marketing or administrative tasks as needed to support the business
  • Collaborate with internal team members on special projects or initiatives
