Heritage Hall Blacksburg has an immediate opening for a Marketing and Admissions Specialist. The Marketing and Admissions Specialist's mission is to build and grow census by developing the market and providing prospective patients/responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance in choosing a nursing home. The primary responsibility of the Marketing and Admissions Specialist is to develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources, leading to a consistent flow of quality referrals.

Requirements

BS degree in marketing or sales with emphasis in healthcare or related field (work experience or field work in social services will be considered in lieu of college degree.
Experience in long-term care preferred
Experience in marketing or sales
Be willing to travel overnight occasionally
Ability to communicate effectively with various types of people, both orally and in written format
Leadership skills
Knowledge of admissions/marketing practices and procedures
Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing admissions / marketing functions in a long-term care facility
Organization skills
Ability to review current marketing strategies and use that knowledge to develop new and improved marketing goals independently and insightfully
