What you will do: Coordinate the admission and matriculation process for incoming applicants. Maintain and update applicant and student records within university software platforms. Collaborate with colleges to ensure appropriate documentation is submitted. Offer assistance and support to student applicants during their admissions and recruitment experience. Advise students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and financial assistance as appropriate. Assist occasionally with recruitment efforts such as, but not limited to, in-person events and fairs as well as virtual information sessions. Provide support to incoming domestic and international transfer, graduate and professional applicants and readmitted students as they navigate the college and national applications and decision process. Apply complex policies and procedures to process applications for admission to the university including the evaluation of academic and supporting credentials. Requirements

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Certifications: Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
  • Physical: Ability to bend, lift, stoop and carry. Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
  • Environmental: Standard office environment. Frequent exposure to pressure caused by deadlines and busy periods. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies. Requires contact with other departments and university officials.
  • Willingness to work extended and weekend hours during peak periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Higher Education Admissions
  • Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft
