The External Case Manager (ECM/ Marketer) serves as the primary point of contact for referral sources, both existing and potential. The role involves providing support, education, and assistance with facility admissions and referrals. The ECM will work to maintain and grow existing relationships with referral sources, while also developing new connections to increase admissions. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to move throughout the workday.
- Must be able to speak and write English clearly.
- Ability to handle stress and work with diverse individuals, including those who may be upset or hostile.
- May need to assist with evacuations in emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate communication within the organization and with referral sources.
- Promote the services of Allure Group facilities to referral sources, families, and the community to strengthen reputation and increase admissions.
- Identify and act on growth opportunities for the company.
- Participate in facility committee meetings as needed.
- Follow all policies and procedures as instructed by supervisors.
- Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents and staff.
- Attend and participate in scheduled training and orientation programs.
- Complete annual safety and infection control training, including OSHA and CDC requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and treat all residents with kindness and respect.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies.
