About The Position

THE MARKET SALES REPRESENTATIVE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EXECUTION OF CHAIN AND TRADE MARKETING PROGRAMS AT THE STORE LEVEL FOR AN ASSIGNED MARKET. AS A BREWERY FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE, THE MSR IS EXPECTED TO BE AN AUTHORITY ON PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, BRAND POSITIONING, AND PROGRAMMING IN THE MARKETPLACE. EXECUTE CHAIN ACTIVITY IN TERRITORY. GROW BRANDS AND SKUS IN KEY ACCOUNTS. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH WHOLESALER RESP. DRIVE TRADE MARKET EXECUTION AND PROMOTE AND EDUCATE MARKET WITH BRANDS. BE A SELF-STARTER AND FIELD LEADER TO DRIVE RESULTS IN THE ON AND OFF PREMISE.

Requirements

  • Organized and self-managed to complete tasks for wholesaler and market manager in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills and follow-up

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing
  • 1-2 years in the alcohol beverage industry preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license without any alcohol-related offenses
  • Must be able to drive long distances regularly, including weekly travel throughout Central New York

  • PARTNER WITH WHOLESALER SALES REPRESENTATIVES TO GROW VOLUME, PRESENCE, AND INFLUENCE IN THE TRADE
  • EXECUTE BRAND STRATEGY AT THE POINT OF CONNECTION WITH THE CONSUMER
  • DRIVE BUSINESS TO ACHIEVE KPIS ASSIGNED TO MARKET
  • PROMOTIONS TO DRIVE CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT AND PRODUCT TRIAL
  • SELL IN AND DELIVER POS TO KEY ACCOUNTS
  • MANAGE COMPANY DOLLARS IN BEST USE FOR ROI
  • SELL IN ITEMS AND CHAIN GAPS AT STORE LEVEL
