About The Position

Market Sales Manager (MSM) This is a full-time, remote role, based in Newark, NJ The ZAGG Market Sales Manager (MSM) is the face of the company for ZAGG. Their primary objective is focusing on retailers sell-thru in their assigned territory via weekly Store Visits, Trainings, and Events. They maintain and expand relationships with all our retail partners in their assigned territory. They will be responsible for improving sell-thru performance via product and sales process training, merchandising compliance, and assigned strategic account objectives. Key Relationships US Wireless carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. As well as consumer electronics retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent work experience required
  • 4+ years' experience working in retail
  • Consumer Electronics/Wireless Retail experience preferred
  • Must be able to be physically present for training sessions, presentations, and meetings. Some travel.
  • Customer inventory analytical background preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Microsoft Enterprise Software.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator.
  • Strong problem identification and creative/collaborative resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage budget for assigned Market
  • Set weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  • Adhere to ZAGG policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Conduct regular market visits.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with retail leadership and retail stores within your assigned market.
  • Travel to supported markets when needed.
  • Proactively source weekly retailer training opportunities at Region, District, and/or Store levels to efficiently train all retail employees within your assigned territory.
  • Participate in monthly side by side Sales Events with retailers to demonstrate the sales process firsthand.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Improve retailer personnel knowledge of InvisibleShield, mophie, and ZAGG products
  • Work with each retailer to assess the most effective method to include our products in their corporate-driven sales process.
  • Audit in-store merchandising compliance.
  • Confirm marketing initiatives.
