Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in high school or university or seeking experience in a related field of study to be eligible for an internship.
  • Strong computer and technology skills are required, particularly proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Some educational institutions require prior approval before starting an internship. It is the student’s responsibility to verify and meet any institutional requirements before accepting a position.
  • All interns must complete and submit an application to be considered, including a background check if selected for the role.
  • Interns must collaborate with a Y supervisor to complete and submit an internship learning agreement to the Director of Operations or Executive Director and the HR Office.
  • Interns may only participate in one internship (paid or unpaid) within the YNS organization at a time.
  • Requests for consecutive internships will be reviewed by internship managers.
