About The Position

Interns / co-ops will provide equity research support to the Research Department, collecting relevant financial information and assisting product managers and analysts in security selection, asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio management

Requirements

• Working on a degree in Finance/ Accounting/Economics
• Demonstrated interest in investments the markets and economy
• Work well in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically in Excel
• High attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrates initiative
• Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of client sensitive information
• United States Citizen or lawful permanent resident

Responsibilities

• Provide support to CIO and Portfolio Strategy Team
• Assist with asset allocation and manager due diligence research
• Improve workflow reporting for Portfolio Strategy Team
• Assist research analysts in expanding their coverage list and provide analytical support
• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis using financial, industry and other supplemental data
• Use multiple valuation techniques to estimate the fair value of a company
• Help to produce research presentations and publications for internal and external use
• Promote and maintain frequent interaction with product managers and analysts
• Work on special projects as directed by the CIO
