About The Position

Angott Search Group has partnered with a leading global supplier of powertrain components to identify a Market Intelligence Analyst who will turn automotive aftermarket data into actionable business insights. This role supports strategic decision-making by analyzing market trends, fleet and product data, forecasting performance, and identifying opportunities for growth, profitability, and portfolio expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or Data Science
  • 3-6 years of experience in market intelligence, analytics, or research (automotive aftermarket preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools
  • Solid understanding of forecasting, margin analysis, and financial metrics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • English required; Spanish a plus

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or specialization in Analytics, Market Research, or Strategy preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze automotive aftermarket trends, competitors, pricing, and customer dynamics
  • Evaluate fleet and product segmentation data to identify gaps and sales opportunities
  • Support sales and demand forecasting; track forecast accuracy and performance
  • Assess business results and product profitability; recommend margin improvements
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain teams on data-driven strategy
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on new markets, products, and competitive activity
