Leads the sales strategy for defined areas of responsibility, accountable for sales results and team performance. Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities: - Supports the development and execution of sales and go-to-market strategies within a designated group or territory based on detailed customer intelligence and deep market and industry awareness - Leads efficient execution of strategy to optimize current and future growth of products and solutions as well as market share (in designated territory, portfolio, market segment, etc) - Leads multiple sales teams accountable to meet sales, revenue, retention and organisational objectives in a timely manner - Holds accountability for the performance, productivity and results of teams and provides strategic and operational leadership in their region - - Ensures regional plans accurately align to regional / local business priorities and plans - Role models and instils strategic account planning practice across sales and relationship management teams - Builds and develops succession of capable sales leadership teams through active management, mentoring, coaching and talent movement, commits to encouraging learning opportunities
