The Market Development Officer – Kingsville serves as a key leader and ambassador for the Bank in the Kingsville market. Reporting directly to the Market President, this role is responsible for driving business development, strengthening community engagement, and supporting overall market growth and leadership. This individual will actively cultivate commercial, private and retail relationships, represent the Bank in the community, and help advance a customer and community focused banking culture. The Market Development Officer will play a critical role in expanding market presence, deepening relationships, and reinforcing the Bank’s reputation as a trusted local partner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of banking or financial services experience or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Business development experience in a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship-based sales and community engagement.
  • Proven leadership presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of commercial lending, financial services, retail banking, and deposit products preferred.
  • Established ties to the Kingsville market strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop new commercial and private banking relationships through calling efforts, networking, and community involvement.
  • Identify and pursue lending, deposit, and treasury management opportunities.
  • Partner with credit, treasury, mortgage, and retail teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Execute a structured calling plan aligned with market growth goals.
  • Carry a portfolio of specific customers as needed.
  • Serve as a visible representative of the Bank in the Kingsville community.
  • Participate in civic, nonprofit, and business organizations to strengthen community partnerships.
  • Support financial literacy, community development, and local economic initiatives.
  • Reinforce the Bank’s community-oriented culture in all external interactions.
  • Support the Market President in executing strategic growth initiatives.
  • Help coordinate local calling efforts and relationship strategies across business lines.
