Under the direction of the Director of Lead Conversion, the Marketing Automation Associate supports the planning, execution, and optimization of automated marketing programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and also AI-based phone and SMS campaigns. This role is responsible for building customer journeys, deploying targeted campaigns, ensuring data accuracy, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, lead conversion, and personalized customer experiences. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office. The ideal candidate must reside in Kohler, WI or Milwaukee, WI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or 5+ years of marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of experience with digital marketing, email/SMS marketing, or marketing automation.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio).
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, customer journeys, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
  • Experience with SQL for segmentation and Automation Studio queries.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template updates.
  • Exposure to CRM (Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud preferred).
  • Google Analytics 4 experience.
  • Familiarity with AI-based lead qualification and booking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy multi‑step customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
  • Create and manage segmented email, SMS, and push notification campaigns.
  • Support triggered, scheduled, and real-time marketing programs across the customer lifecycle.
  • Maintain campaign calendars and ensure timely execution.
  • Work with marketing and data teams to define audience criteria and segmentation logic.
  • Ensure proper use of Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and subscriber attributes.
  • Conduct data hygiene checks and troubleshoot data flow or campaign issues.
  • Build and QA email templates, dynamic content, and personalization strings.
  • Run pre-deployment checks including rendering tests, link validation, and CAN-SPAM & TCPA compliance reviews.
  • Ensure brand consistency and accessibility across all marketing assets.
  • Monitor and report performance metrics (deliverability, open rates, CTR, conversion metrics).
  • Assist analytics teams in building dashboards or recurring reports using SFMC Reporting, SFMC Datorama, or CRM data with PowerBI.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and A/B testing to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, product, and analytics teams on cross-channel initiatives.
  • Support documentation of processes, campaign requirements, and best practices.
  • Assist with platform administration tasks, user support, and troubleshooting.
