About The Position

The Automation Analyst plays a pivotal role in our organization's digital transformation initiatives, focusing on analyzing and identifying business processes for automation. This entry-level position involves working closely with both business units and the RPA development team to streamline operations and support the broader automation strategy, including but not limited to RPA solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across different teams and roles.
  • Technical aptitude with a keen interest in learning new software and technologies.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A basic understanding of RPA tools and technologies is beneficial but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes and requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Entry-level position; however, experience in process analysis, business analysis, or a related field is advantageous.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to automation technologies or RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify automation opportunities and assess the feasibility of automating processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed process analysis, documenting business processes and specifying requirements for automation.
  • Support the RPA development team by assisting in the creation of Process Design Documents (PDD) and providing insights into potential automation solutions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of automation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards.
  • Assist in the configuration and support of RPA bots, including troubleshooting and maintaining existing automations.
  • Facilitate change management processes for automation initiatives, including gathering and documenting requirements for changes to existing automations.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of new technologies and automation trends, exploring how they can be integrated into the company's automation ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the creation of documentation for automation workflows, ensuring clear understanding and easy maintenance.
  • Provide support during pre-UAT phases, creating test procedures and scenarios to validate automation solutions.
