Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Job Description: Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Average training time may require 2-3 months. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent. Must be willing and able to: Lift/carry up to 50lbs. Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds. Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas. To perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Set up equipment in preparation for startup, responsible for making precision cuts to carcass and separate meat from bone to achieve desired carcass yield., while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to: Lift/carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds.
  • Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
  • To perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
  • Must not have more than 6 attendance occurrences.
  • Must not have a disciplinary suspension on file in the past 6 months.
