Boater’s World Marine Centers in Bradenton, FL is now accepting applications for Marine Technicians / Outboard Mechanics to join our top-performing Gulf Coast service team for the 2026 season. We’re interviewing throughout the remainder of 2025 for January 2026 start dates — but highly qualified A-Techs with multiple manufacturer certifications may be eligible for an earlier start. Requirements
- 3+ years of marine tech experience (dealership experience preferred)
- Manufacturer certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser) preferred
- MMI graduate a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Confident working with mechanical, electrical, and rigging systems
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to hustle
- Must be able to work Saturdays (closed Sunday, 1 weekday off)
- Team player with a positive, growth-minded attitude—we care about culture
- Must be able to kneel, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in shop conditions
- May require occasional overtime during peak seasons
- We value work ethic and attitude just as much as experience

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and rig outboard and inboard systems with precision.
- Perform OEM-level service, installations, and upgrades using factory parts and accessories.
- Conduct safety inspections, lake/sea tests, and ensure high-quality performance standards.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Identify and recommend additional services to enhance performance and reliability.
- Keep accurate records and maintain an organized, efficient work area.
