We are hiring an experienced Marine Technician / Marine Mechanic to join our modern, high-performance service department. This is not an entry-level role—we’re looking for skilled technicians who take pride in diagnostics, repairs, and quality workmanship. Automotive, diesel, RV, and powersports technicians are strongly encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Mechanical experience (marine, automotive, diesel, RV, or powersports)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Marine technician or marine mechanic background
  • Experience with outboards, inboards, and sterndrives
  • Electrical diagnostics and wiring experience
  • Manufacturer certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with dealership software (Lightspeed EVO a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair marine engines and boat systems
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs
  • Complete rigging, winterization, and seasonal prep/commissioning
  • Install and repair marine electrical systems, electronics, and components
  • Work on outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines
  • Use diagnostic software and dealership systems (Lightspeed EVO)
  • Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
  • Work with service advisors and team members to meet deadlines
  • Safely move boats, trailers, and equipment (forklift/tractor use)
