KCI Technologies is hiring a Marine Structural Engineer-in-Training to join our team. Performs work that involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures or equipment. Assignments include but are not limited to: design and development, testing of materials, preparation of specifications, process study, research investigations, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in a specific, narrow area of assignments. Works collaboratively with internal and external partners on multidisciplinary design/engineering projects. Coordinates the work of Engineers and others who may assist on specific assignments, as required. Reviews input from Project or Technical Managers and makes the necessary adjustments and corrections to work product. Performs work in a timely and effective manner within assigned schedules and budgets. Experience on all phases of design as well as provided construction administration/bid phase services is preferred Field experience and ability to work with clients, contractors, and other disciplines is preferred not required EIT is preferred. Ability to get in 1 year is required. Multi-tasker with ability to perform structural design and development of construction drawings for concrete, wood, and steel structures.
