What we're looking for in a Marine Paint/Coatings Technician To excel as a Marine Paint/Coatings Technician at All American Marine, a variety of skills and abilities are essential. Experience in vinyl application and familiarity with sandblasting media and coating materials will greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role. A successful candidate must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights while using respiratory protective equipment. Proficiency in using, maintaining, and troubleshooting various power tools and equipment is required. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will aim for minimal rework and uphold high-quality standards. Teamwork and communication skills are vital, as you will collaborate with others while also needing to work independently. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to follow directions will contribute to your success. Additionally, a basic understanding of nautical terms, as well as basic shop skills like drilling and cutting, will be beneficial.
