About The Position
Come and join the best boating club in the business – Your Boat Club! Your Boat Club is seeking a full-time Marine Bottom Painter/Detailer at our location on Lake Tarpon in Palm Harbor. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the appearance and performance of our boats through bottom painting, hull prep, and full detailing services. Requirements
- Experience with fiberglass repair or gelcoat work.
- Experience working with center consoles, pontoons, and deck boats.
- General marine maintenance knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Perform bottom prep, including pressure washing, sanding, scraping, and masking.
- Apply bottom paint and coatings in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Inspect hulls for wear, blisters, or damage and report findings.
- Complete full boat detailing (wash, wax, compound, polish).
- Clean interiors, decks, upholstery, and compartments.
- Operate buffers, sanders, and pressure washing equipment safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Assist with general marina and fleet maintenance as needed.
