About The Position

At Bayliss Boatworks, our in-house mechanical department is looking for a dedicated technician to service and install marine A/C and refrigeration systems. Our new construction and service yard projects demand the highest standards of quality. An excellent work ethic, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and self-motivation are essential to succeed in this role. ABYC certification and marine experience are preferred. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with marine A/C and refrigeration systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems efficiently and effectively.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Nice To Haves

ABYC certification and marine experience are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Service and install marine A/C and refrigeration systems for new builds and service yard projects.
Troubleshoot and repair A/C and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and install equipment in compliance with ABYC standards and company specifications.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure all installations and repairs meet quality standards.
Provide preventative maintenance to maximize system longevity and prevent issues.
