Credence has an immediate opening for a Configuration and Data Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) M- Code Aviation Receiver (MAR) Joint Program Office (JPO) at Warner Robins, GA. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) M- Code Aviation Receiver (MAR) Joint Program Office (JPO) manages systems to provide precise positioning, navigation, and timing information to a variety of Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems. These systems include but are not limited to the Software Defined User Equipment (SDUE), Miniaturized Airborne GPS Receiver (MAGR) 2000, Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI), Defense Advanced GPS Receiver (DAGR), GPS Antenna System 1 (GAS-1), Advanced Digital Antenna Production System (ADAP), GPS Antennas, Antenna Electronics (AE), Resilient Embedded GPS/INS (R-EGI), Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE); Air Force Vanguard Transition programs, and alternative navigation capabilities. Some systems are in initial development and many of these systems are undergoing significant modernization efforts to respond to new threats, improve supportability, improve long-term resiliency, and adopt open architecture standards, and digital engineering best practices. Modernization efforts are underway for both the MAGR-2K and the EGI receiver systems in support of aircraft modernization efforts. Additionally, R-EGI and SDUE are in rapid development using innovative acquisition approaches.

Requirements

  • Holds an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three (3) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD
  • OR, seven (7) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and maintain Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes in support of the M-Code Aviation Receiver (MAR) Joint Program Office
  • Establish and control baselines for system requirements, designs, software, hardware, and technical data throughout the system life cycle
  • Manage configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits in accordance with DoD and Air Force policies
  • Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) by preparing documentation, tracking Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and ensuring timely adjudication and implementation
  • Maintain authoritative configuration and technical data repositories to ensure accuracy, traceability, and accessibility
  • Ensure technical data packages, specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and drawings are properly controlled and versioned
  • Track and manage hardware and software configurations across development, test, production, and sustainment environments
  • Ensure requirements traceability from system-level requirements through design, implementation, test, and deployment
  • Support audits, reviews, and milestone events by providing configuration status and data products
  • Ensure compliance with contractual data requirements (CDRLs) and data item descriptions (DIDs)
  • Coordinate with systems engineering, test, logistics, cybersecurity, and acquisition teams to ensure configuration integrity
  • Support data rights management, data delivery schedules, and secure handling of controlled and classified information
  • Identify configuration risks and impacts to cost, schedule, and performance; support mitigation strategies
  • Ensure CM/DM processes support airworthiness, security accreditation, and lifecycle sustainment needs
