Our Marietta location has an opening for a 2 nd shift Manufacturing Trainee (Plate Maker) position. This is an entry-level role that requires NO EXPERIENCE in manufacturing. The starting pay for this position is $21/hour plus $1/hour shift differential. Employees are eligible for two, 50-cent increases over the first year if they pass the competency assessments. Requirements

No manufacturing experience required
High school diploma or GED equivalent

Lifting up to 65 lbs.
Positioning material with the assistance of carts and overhead cranes
Standing/walking for whole/majority of shift
Vision abilities include close vision in the inspection of the work
Infrequent pushing/pulling of carts

Responsibilities

Review job ticket instructions to determine requirement of job production.
Make, finish, and possibly mount printing plates correctly and in accordance with customer needs and timing
Use all platemaking equipment - Prepare files, run CDI, exposure, washout and finishing units, solvent based still, cutting table, various mounters, sewing machine, etc
Operate forklift if / as necessary
QC work performed in accordance with department SOP’s
Be responsible for keeping all work areas clean.
Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business.
