About The Position

As our Manufacturing
Technician, you will have the ability to work closely with
the Engineering team and our production group learning about our unique products
and core capabilities. This candidate will be responsible for supporting our
processes in manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills on various pieces of manufacturing equipment.
• Understanding of automation controls and PLCs is desirable.
• Ability to manage an equipment database for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Strong communication and organizational skills to support process, manufacturing, and design engineering functions
• Desired skills: Knowledge of housing & connector assembly design, materials, components, processes, and electrical/mechanical testing and regulatory approvals; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite,excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and Investigate operational problems affecting production, report and recommend solutions.
• Support safety initiatives
• Promote a culture of 5s organization
• Maintain productivity and efficiency by effectively training production staff on manufacturing/assembly processes and methods. Make sure the written process translates into efficient and reliable production and recommend changes to Engineering as required.
• Continually seek ways to simplify your operations, invest and/or rationalize costs.
• Help diagnose production equipment issues and suggest improvements.
• support and perform preventative maintenance.
• Actively participate both internally and externally on NPI projects, Engineering requirements, RMA’s, CAR’s, and production.
• Collect KPI’s data and communicate our performance regularly to other staff
