About The Position

The Line Operator is responsible for the Safety, Quality, and Production within the area of ownership of the manufacturing process. The Line Operator will be responsible for the flow of production through the tube-making machines.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Assembly line experience preferred
  • Employee regularly works in a warehouse/manufacture setting
  • Working experience of Loss Elimination Methodologies preferred (TPM, Lean manufacturing, 5D, OEE, etc.) preferred
  • Collaboration skills-must be able to work effectively in a highly diverse, global, multi-functional environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time
  • Strong communication skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a quality-focused culture in a manufacturing environment
  • Operate in compliance with all Safe Practices & SOP
  • Responsible for delivering all Product Quality Requirements for Class 1 Medical Devices
  • Completion and adherence to all Quality SOP's and GMP's
  • Meet or exceed Business Performance Targets for Production, Process Reliability, and Scrap
  • Maintain a Lean Manufacturing culture to avoid downtime and scrap loss
  • Maintain daily goals to ensure minimum loss of downtime on the machines
  • Knowledge of startup and shutdown of the equipment
  • Responsible for assisting the Line Lead when called upon
  • Other duties as deemed necessary
