About The Position

STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops and integrates products, engineering support, repair and maintenance services to provide value-added solutions to owners, engineers and contractors. We provide specialty contracting services through our contracting companies, and state-of-the-art proprietary products and engineering support services through our technologies company. With over 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Transportation Industrial, and Power markets to tackle the toughest construction challenges. STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group. We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, MD. As a Manufacturing Technician for TSTRATA, you will be accountable for product manufacturing, packaging, and shipping support. The successful candidate will also be responsible for: Set-up and operation of production equipment Maintain accurate production logs of finished goods Inspection of raw materials for defects and required traceability Quality control testing of finished products Packaging and labeling of finished products Collaborate with engineering and management to improve production rates and efficiency Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of equipment Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock records Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc. Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and company policies All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Understanding and experience with machinery, assembly tools, and basic troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, plant environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Up to 10% travel may be required for this position
