About The Position

Manufacturing Technician – Systems & Media Fill Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Systems & Media Fill to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to building our Ultra High Purity Systems. This will include but not limited to; manufacturing various sub-assemblies to engineering specifications, assist with routing cables and conduit, as well as filling vessels to released drawings. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner, comply with all applicable work instructions and will require you to become Respirator qualified. What You’ll Do: Learn and understand standard and non-standard options per the Customer Data Sheets (CDS) requirements. Follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, schematics, fill sheets, piping and instrumentation drawings, illustrations and process documentation to assemble a variety of mechanical, electrical subassemblies, vessels and systems . Assist in Cabinet Preparation by installing vessels, bracketing, piping insulation, and sub-assemblies. Perform routine, repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner. Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety). Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments. Work safely and recognize the safety of others. Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance. Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily.
  • Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Astute attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to learn how to handle material responsibly.
  • Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry.
  • Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends to support business needs.
