Requirements

Associate degree in aviation electronics or related field, or equivalent experience (required)
5+ years of electronic technician experience (required)
Ability to troubleshoot to board/component level (required)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals (required)
Must read, write, and speak English (FAA requirement) (required)
Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)

Nice To Haves

IPC-J-STD-001 soldering experience (advantage)
Understanding of FAA regulations (advantage)

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electronic circuits and mechanical systems using test equipment (ATE, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.)
Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and modifications on avionics equipment
Conduct alignments, repairs, and testing to meet productivity standards
Inspect maintenance articles and replacement materials for defects
Perform soldering rework to IPC J-STD specifications
Comply with FAA regulations, ISO procedures, and company policies
