As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations by inspecting, testing, and repairing equipment used on aircraft.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in aviation electronics or related field, or equivalent experience (required)
  • 5+ years of electronic technician experience (required)
  • Ability to troubleshoot to board/component level (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals (required)
  • Must read, write, and speak English (FAA requirement) (required)
  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) (required)

Nice To Haves

  • IPC-J-STD-001 soldering experience (advantage)
  • Understanding of FAA regulations (advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits and mechanical systems using test equipment (ATE, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, and modifications on avionics equipment
  • Conduct alignments, repairs, and testing to meet productivity standards
  • Inspect maintenance articles and replacement materials for defects
  • Perform soldering rework to IPC J-STD specifications
  • Comply with FAA regulations, ISO procedures, and company policies
