Position Summary: The Manufacturing Technician I is primarily responsible for operating machinery for the production and packaging of dental consumables. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, follows work instructions to assemble dental consumables including setting up equipment and material, loading filling/packing equipment, monitoring process, and completing all required documentation per quality policies and procedures. Performs quality checks throughout the production process to avoid rework and scrapping of product and material. Perform changeovers and troubleshoots minor problems to ensure product specifications are met in compliance with quality standards Immediately reports productivity and quality concerns to the appropriate personnel. Reports damaged material, tooling and/or machinery to the appropriate personnel for prompt repair or replacement. Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality. Reads, comprehends, and complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs). Participates in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai.
