About The Position

L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician B to join our team. This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility.

Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and personal computing devices.
Familiar with electronics manufacturing processes, including soldering, hand tools, and ESD practices.
IPC 610/620 Certification.

Responsibilities

Sets up basic manufacturing apparatus and completes assembly following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences.
Ability to work from both oral and written English instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints.
Able to personally lift and carry up to 32 lbs.
Physical effort will range from light to heavy lifting and may include occasional heavy team lifting to 75 lbs. standing, bending, kneeling, & stooping.
Documents assembly data and results, provides initial documentation of failed products.
Works to achieve operational targets within the functional area.
Able to work in both team and individual contributor roles, with minimal supervision.
Participate in continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule or other items of value to the business.
Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and judgment at all times as detailed in company policy and procedure.
Willing to work overtime as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
