About The Position

At MilliporeSigma, the Manufacturing Technician 4 will mix and process various biological compounds according to established protocols and perform operations in support of the group. Shift details: Monday-Thursday 10:00pm-8:30am (4x10 hour shifts) Training will be on 1st shift for the first 6 weeks. Slight accommodations are negotiable. Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices as dictated by internal policies. Communicate status of processes, products, and equipment to the team. Complete a thorough and accurate batch record at the conclusion of production operations consistent with quality guidelines. Work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of work experience in a GMP life science manufacturing environment
Associate’s Degree in any discipline
1+ year(s) experience in a GMP life science manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline
Solid knowledge of chemistry, math, and general science
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Troubleshooting skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with SAP
