Shift: The regular hours for this position are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 11:00am to 11:15pm. You will receive a 10% shift differential. Job Description: The Manufacturing Technician 4 is responsible for executing highly complex manufacturing, assembly, and testing operations in a cleanroom environment while serving as a technical leader within the shift team. This role requires deep technical expertise, independent problem-solving capability, and the ability to support production, quality, and engineering initiatives. The Manufacturing Technician 4 consistently operates with minimal supervision, mentors less-experienced technicians, and plays a key role in maintaining process stability and meeting production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Safety & Quality Compliance Act as a role model for safety, quality, and cleanroom discipline.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety policies, cleanroom protocols, and ESD requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate safety or quality risks and support corrective actions.
  • Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform advanced mechanical and electromechanical assembly of stiffeners, PCBAs, interposers, probe cards, and associated hardware and electrical components.
  • Execute precise mechanical adjustments using advanced measurement and inspection tools, including hand tools, tweezers, dial indicators, torque tools, digital meters, and microscopes.
  • Interpret and execute complex mechanical work instructions, engineering drawings, and change notices.
  • Identify process deviations and recommend improvements to enhance yield and product quality.
  • Independently set up and operate test equipment for electrical testing and characterization.
  • Conduct advanced electronic casualty analysis and failure diagnostics of probe cards and assemblies.
  • Perform probe card adjustments to achieve and maintain planarity and electrical performance specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues down to the component level using electronic theory and measurement tools (ohm, capacitance, voltage meters, etc.).
  • Partner with Engineering to support root cause analysis, process validation, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Analyze production and test data using SPC methodologies to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Accurately document test results, process observations, and corrective actions in designated tracking systems.
  • Provide clear technical feedback and documentation to Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor for Manufacturing Technicians 1–3.
  • Provide informal leadership on the shift by assisting with task prioritization, training, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support production goals and continuous improvement.
  • Independently manage workload and contribute to meeting or exceeding daily and long-term production targets.
