About The Position

ABBA Roller is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I (Wheel Builder Assistant) to support the assembly and build of rubber wheels. This is an entry-level, hands-on manufacturing role with training provided. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn precision manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Manufacturing, warehouse, or shop experience is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and positive work ethic.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED.
ENTRY-LEVEL, 0-1 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, NO PRIOR WHEEL-BUILDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
Good close and distance vision.
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a “U.S. person” as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15), which includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, as required by U.S. export control laws.

Responsibilities

Assist in the assembly and building of rubber wheels under the direction of experienced technicians.
Prepare materials, hubs, and components for wheel building.
Support wrapping, handling, and staging of wheels during the build process.
Perform basic measurements using tools such as calipers and gauges (training provided).
Assist with operating production equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
Conduct visual and basic quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and on-time delivery.
Perform additional tasks and support special projects as assigned.
