Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic competency in reading, writing, and math
- Strong hand–eye–foot coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to accurately distinguish colors
- Physically able to perform the essential functions
- Consistent attendance and schedule reliability
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and control heat-treat systems to process aluminum and steel parts to production specs and quality standards
- Execute hardness checks with calibrated equipment; log and verify results
- Inspect work-in-process and finished parts; report defects or nonconformances to supervision
- Stage, handle, and offload parts to support uninterrupted material flow
- Use material handling equipment (including Gorbel cranes) safely and efficiently
- Apply air buffers and hand tools for part prep/finish as needed
- Follow safety policies, work instructions, and quality procedures
- Maintain housekeeping standards; assist with basic checks and preventative maintenance
