As a Team Lead in Manufacturing Operations, you will play a critical role in guiding a high-performing team while ensuring excellence in safety, quality, and production delivery. You will lead daily operations on second shift, coordinating activities to meet production schedules while maintaining strict adherence to cGMP standards. Beyond execution, you’ll help shape a culture where continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration drive results. Your leadership will directly support the production of innovative solutions that empower our customers—and ultimately impact patients and communities around the world.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement is an advanced degree or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, or similar)
  • Background in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related technical field preferred
  • 2+ years proven experience leading teams (5+ colleagues) in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Effective problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions
  • Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems and Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of manufacturing colleagues to achieve performance, quality, and safety goals
  • Coordinate production activities to meet schedule adherence and equipment efficiency targets
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues and optimize workflows
  • Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and support career development
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO standards, and internal quality systems
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics across production operations
