We’re producing Hi-Nicalon TypeS SiC Fiber as well as SiC pre-preg tape in an advanced technology, LEAN manufacturing environment. Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. This role will be supporting 2nd/night shift with the hours of 4:30 P - 4:30 A.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing experience)
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
Typically managing hourly employee populations.
Spend 75% of time on the shop floor, Strong team coaching ability and follow up
Familiarity with managing and communicating through lean production systems
Use and teach basic problem solving tools 5Why, Fishbone
Collaborative leader with key function like EHS and quality
Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
