About The Position
Manufacturing Team Lead - 2nd Shift Location: Euless, Texas Shift: Monday–Friday | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM Salary: $29.54/hr + 15% shift differential Join The Gund Company, a 30% employee-owned electrical insulation manufacturer, where teamwork, skill development, and leadership growth are core to what we do. We’re seeking an experienced Team Lead / Machinist to support production on 2nd shift by leading operators, managing workflow, and performing advanced machining operations. What You’ll Be Doing Serve as the shift or work-cell Team Lead, guiding operators and daily production priorities Manage resources including people, equipment, and materials to keep work flowing efficiently Set up and operate a variety of machines including manual mills, lathes, saws, routers, and presses Perform complex machining, set-ups, and programming with close tolerances Train, coach, and support less-experienced operators in partnership with leadership Complete work orders, inspections, and documentation while maintaining high quality standards Promote and model safety, accountability, and The Gund Company’s culture of care Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity and processes Requirements What We’re Looking For Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (required) 5+ years of machining experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read blueprints, interpret drawings, and use measuring instruments accurately Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Intermediate math skills and comfort working with tight tolerances Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and work overtime as needed Why Join The Gund Company? Requirements
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (required)
- 5+ years of machining experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
