Requirements

  • High‑school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or test environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, part numbers, and test specifications.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver components up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and working at bench height/fixture level.
  • Familiarity with OSHA/LMPI safety practices (PPE, lock‑out/tag‑out).
  • Able to follow documented calibration and traceability procedures.
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • Clearance Level: Secret

  • Effective written and verbal communication for reporting findings.
  • Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • Problem solver who can identify, analyze, and eliminate obstacles that hinder productivity, quality, or safety.
  • Experience with X‑ray, ultrasonic, or other non‑destructive evaluation (NDE) equipment.
  • Knowledge of PLM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter).
  • Prior involvement in Six‑Sigma/Kaizen or other continuous‑improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in an Aerospace Manufacturing Environment
