About The Position
Shaw Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for a 2nd shift operation at a facility in Cartersville, GA. This role involves managing a 2nd shift team to ensure the production of quality carpet tile in a safe, accident-free environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and team development. Requirements
- 4 year degree or High School Diploma/GED and Leadership experience.
- Leadership experience must be within the most recent 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Plant Management, Human Resources, and all Team Members.
- Act as a facilitator to aid associates in examining and improving their work processes to achieve better results.
- Manage group and one-to-one discussions.
- Apply coaching and corrective action when necessary.
- Communicate the goals and direction of the team.
- Develop and maintain a firm working knowledge of the carpet manufacturing processes and the equipment and procedures it contains.
