The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Manufacturing Supervisor , you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Work with department Work Team Leaders (WTL’s) to discuss staffing, equipment concerns, priorities and other needs Perform Incident Commander duties during emergency situations when needed Ensure an adequate number of properly trained craftspeople are available to maintain plant operations Ensure effective assignment of craftspeople to maintenance PM’s and work orders Interact with other supervisors in operational departments to ensure their maintenance priorities are addressed Participate in supervisory sub-teams that may be established to develop or improve plant policies and procedures Identify opportunities for improvement of training, scheduling, safety, operating costs, and other aspects of plant engineering operations Ensure effective conduct of Area Safety Team, hearing conservation efforts, and other safety programs Facilitate daily Tier meetings to communicate plans, review execution of plans, identify opportunities to improve and engage teams in continuous improvement process Manage department spend, and implement cost control measures as appropriate Manage employee performance in adherence to site policies and procedures Lead root cause analysis of safety, quality, or other critical incidents using various analysis tools (5 Why, Cause Maps, etc…)

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of experience as a team leader, supervisor, or manager in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in mechanical technology, electronics, or other technical discipline relevant to the maintenance of industrial equipment
  • Two [2] years of experience as a mechanic, electrician, machinist, or another plant engineering role in an industrial facility
  • Proven record of developing and implementing change in large organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to determine effectiveness of operations
  • Demonstrated abilities using MS Office, maintenance management systems, and other computer-based programs related to managing operations
  • Experience leading organizations in strict compliance to environmental, health, and safety regulations
