About The Position

Job Summary: Support the Manufacturing Manager by leading daily production execution and frontline team coordination. Ensure work is performed safely, on time, and according to standard work. Focus on daily oversight, issue detection, basic containment, training execution, and escalation to protect quality and delivery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications; knowledgeable in manufacturing processes and calibration.
  • Experienced with laser and TIG welding, clean room assembly, and soldering.
  • Familiar with shop paperwork, labor tracking, and demonstrates strong time management skills.
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities; proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership, Management & Accountability: Assist the Manufacturing Manager in overseeing and assigning technicians’ schedules, prioritizing shop orders, and monitoring team morale. Conduct individual check-ins, goal tracking, and performance reviews, including crucial or disciplinary conversations, to ensure team effectiveness and engagement.
  • Training & Development: Identify, assign, and document required training for manufacturing technicians. Maintain accurate Training Records and support skill development initiatives to meet production and safety standards.
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, field questions, provide solutions, and make daily announcements to ensure smooth workflow and communication across the organization.
  • Work Environment & Production Oversight: Ensure work environments are prepared and maintained before and after shifts, anticipate and prevent shortages or downtime, and verify all work conforms to written work instructions and quality standards.
  • Flexibility & Additional Support: Work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
