About The Position

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Creating and maintain a safe work environment for self and employees by modeling safe behaviors, leading audits and inspections, conducting safety meetings, and reinforcing proper work methods, procedures, and use of equipment Directing and organize duties and responsibilities of direct employees and contingent labor Monitoring production areas to meet performance metrics: Safety, quality, customer delivery, cost, and productivity Enforcing company policy and procedures Interface with EHS, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to assure adequate support for production Facilitating employee training and development Planning and coordinate daily work schedules, determine priorities, and allocate work assignments to meet production requirements Evaluating employees and provide coaching for performance improvement Managing time and attendance in the company tracking systems Maintaining department spending within budget (labor, overtime, etc.)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from and accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment -OR- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

  • Practical mechanical aptitude for resolving process and product issues
  • Experience in affecting change through continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma), working towards cost reduction, quality improvements, and safer work environments

  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
