DePuy Synthes (DPS) is recruiting for a Manufacturing Supervisor – 2nd shift within the Joints Platform- SI&D (Strategy, Innovation and Deployment) team. This role will be located in Warsaw, IN. The Manufacturing Supervisor leads a team of experienced business enablers and early‑career individual contributors, ensuring the effective execution of daily operations and alignment with organizational goals. This role oversees workflow management, project coordination, performance expectations, and compliance within the Manufacturing Product & Packaging Operations team. The supervisor also serves as a primary resource for junior team members, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, packaging, or a related environment.
  • Experience leading teams, coordinating workflows, or supporting operational decision‑making.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commitment to quality, compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise individual contributors and conduct effective performance management, including coaching, feedback, and development planning.
  • Coordinate assignments and processes to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery of work products.
  • Maintain productive workflow, resolve day‑to‑day operational issues, and ensure performance and compliance expectations are met.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for junior team members, providing clear guidance and support.
  • Coordinate scheduled trials and operational plans to support successful launches of new products and packaging processes.
  • Ensure production issues are addressed promptly and all work orders are completed and corrected in a timely manner.
  • Manage team workload and operational priorities to maintain efficiency, continuity, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to ensure strong communication and alignment on operational needs.
  • Implement project plans and timelines to support the objectives of the Manufacturing Product & Packaging Operations area.
  • Ensure all activities meet established procedures, quality and safety standards, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor compliance and identify opportunities for workflow optimization or process enhancement.
  • Demonstrate and reinforce Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in daily interactions.
