We have an opportunity for an Manufacturing Engineering Tech to be based in Columbus, GA. This is a 1st shift opportunity

  • Investigate and provide root cause and corrective actions to address quality non-conformances.
  • Provide engineering support for production operations including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis within the machining business unit including both conventional and non-conventional machining.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Knowledge of machining techniques and processes for manufacture.
  • Interpret requirements to develop and maintain processes to manufacture parts and tooling to engineering drawing requirements.
  • Ability to assist in electronic work instruction creation for manufacturing use.
  • Interpret manufacturing inspection data to ensure product meets engineering requirements.
  • Be able to work in a team environment. Be able to handle multi-tasking duties.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • 3 years technical experience
  • 1 year manufacturing experience
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes or machines
  • CNC Machine operating and setup experience
  • Experience operating or programming CMM equipment
  • 2 year technical certificate
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
