We are seeking an entry level Manufacturing Engineer to work with our ODM/JDM partners to ensure Extreme products are meeting our quality, and reliability requirements. In this position you will hold weekly tactical meetings driving actions for yield improvements, ECO implementation, purge & stop ship execution, corrective action response and verification, Failure Analysis progress etc... As the Manufacturing Engineer for the product line you will be responsible for the integrity of the BOM & product specifications and implementation at our manufacturing sites. This individual will serve on operations and engineering core teams to drive resolution of manufacturing issues. Review quotes for operations assembly and test NRE and drive continuous improvement programs within our ODM/JDM and repair partners. If you are a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, are experienced as a Manufacturing Engineer in an Electronics Manufacturing (OEM, ODM or Contract Manufacturing) company and are extremely effective in driving change, then this job is for you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, CQE, or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process Integration & Improvement
  • Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing and configuration processes within the warehouse lab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
  • Analyze workflow and identify opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and automation.
  • MES Implementation & Support
  • Drive the deployment and configuration of the MES system to support real-time production tracking, traceability, and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain MES documentation including user guides, training materials, and SOPs.
  • Quality System Management
  • Maintain and continuously improve the site’s Quality Management System in alignment with ISO standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Develop and monitor key quality metrics and reporting tools.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure all manufacturing and quality documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
  • Support validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for equipment and processes.
