About The Position

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will lead investigations into manufacturing production quality issues, including nonconformances, line failures, and yield losses. You will identify root causes and drive effective corrective and preventive actions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role involves partnering with manufacturing teams to develop and maintain robust process controls, improving yield, reducing scrap, and enhancing product reliability.

Responsibilities

Lead investigations into production quality issues to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions.
Partner with manufacturing teams to develop and maintain process controls that improve yield and enhance product reliability.
Develop, validate, and sustain in-process inspection methods, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
Establish and maintain statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and gage repeatability and reproducibility (GR&R) studies.
Drive structured problem-solving activities using data-driven tools and methodologies like 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, 8D, and DMAIC.
Assist Manufacturing Engineers with control plan and process validations, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
Participate in risk management activities.
