About The Position

The position is responsible for performing the required inspections and function testing and validation of all manufactured units and parts to ensure all products fit, function, and appearance meets our customers’ expectations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ manufacturing experience of product preferred.
  • Must be proficient in reading and evaluating blueprints.
  • Possess strong math skills.
  • Must be proficient with all precision measuring equipment used by the Q.A. Personnel.
  • Advanced computer skills needed.
  • Flexible, independent, and self-motivated worker.

Responsibilities

  • Perform stall inspections of trailers and assemblies to ensure correct parts, location of parts, quality of parts, and fit, function, and appearance to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Functions all finished product to ensure that all components and configurations are in working order.
  • Conducts rework analysis including researching, documenting reasons, and proposing solutions to defective areas and procedures that are identified in the manufacturing process.
  • Assists in evaluating and proposing standard manufacturing procedures.
  • Performs inspection of received materials, parts, trailers, and assemblies as requested.
  • Prepares necessary documentation and notifies appropriate company personnel when required.
  • Assist in the 5 Why process to determine root cause for problem solving quality issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
