About The Position

The Manufacturing Program Manager (Automotive) at Alten Technology USA is responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical/engineering field.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with SPW pillars methodology and its implementation.
  • Previous experience in plant, project, or process engineering, such as Process Leader or Process Engineering Group Leader.

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in program management and managing milestones.
  • Supports the definition of the Industrial Scenario including volume & capacities, MoB deck, plant allocation, and build scenario.
  • Develops Timing L3/L4 for Process Engineering and helps define and validate Internal Industrial Investments.
  • Assists in defining Transformation Costs and Total Production Cost (TPC).
  • Supports the management and monitoring of Plant Launch Costs.
  • Aids in managing and monitoring Process Engineering resources (FTE, skills, targets, forecasts, staffing).
  • Supports forecasting Quality as shipped to customers (0 km ppm / 3 MIS ppm).
  • Assists in defining Technical Contract documents for Industrial Tech Spec (ITS) and Process Tech Spec.
  • Organizes Intro Workshops and supports energy consumption target setting and forecasting.
  • Contributes to defining the 'Want to Be' (WTB) process in alignment with new implementations.
  • Supports handover activities to the plant and manages open issues during ramp-up.
  • Manages the introduction of process innovations and new technologies per the Innovation roadmap.
  • Supports the definition and validation of risks & opportunities.
  • Manages the definition, sourcing, and industrialization of manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Oversees process and station layout design and contributes to plant layout planning.
  • Manages equipment and tooling acceptance processes and the specification of spare parts for coding.
  • Oversees PQC (LC3PIM) and Manufacturing Process Readiness Qualification (MPRQ).
  • Manages PFMEA and control plan development, cycle time definition, and monitoring.
  • Manages capability assessments and supports FIBE in finalizing scope, timing, specifications, and implementation for Facilities & Buildings.
  • Approves ILE plans for internal logistics assets and equipment based on process consistency.
  • Approves SC plans for racks and packaging in accordance with process consistency.
  • Manages Design for Manufacturability (DfM) activities from the manufacturing side.
  • Supports basic skills training, including product knowledge, and manages machinery and equipment training for the process.
  • Manages Quality Manufacturing Lessons Learned (QMLL), including Process and Plant Lessons Learned.
